Born and raised in Southwest Texas, I have been interested in the earth science since a relatively young age. I have studied geothermal resources, earthquakes, and various weather phenomena over the course of my academic career. The breath of my academic areas allows me to approach geoscience problems from various viewpoints.

On my free time, I like to run, hike, and bike. When not doing physical activities, I like to watch movies, tv shows, soccer, and cfb.

I've competed in trail running relays in the Appalachians. As well, I have run numerous 5Ks, half marathons, and marathons in Texas and Pennsylvania. I'm working towards making a quilt out of running shirts at some point.

My fav football teams are: Liverpool, Barcelona, Mexico NT, Spain NT, Portland (NWSL), and the Texas Longhorns.
