Classes are scheduled to be in-person and are subject to PG County schools/PGMA educational directives.
The official age range is 5 to 16 years old, but we may accept older students in our Hifz classes.

Enrollment is a 2 step process for returning students and 3 step process for new students, all of which can be found on this page:

1b. For New Students: Placement Test is required for all new students. We will send a link to schedule a placement testing. For more information about what the placement test will cover, click here for details.
Note: Tuition is due by the first day of classes, Sunday September 14th, 2025.

About the program:
It is in-person instruction at PGMA
Placement test is required for new students, date and time will be shared in an email
Returning students will be placed in new classes based on grades from 2023/2024 School Year
If a returning student would like to be placed in a higher level, please contact to take part in the placement testing.
Space is LIMITED and classes will be filled based on a first-come, first-serve basis

Each class, Quran (QR), Arabic (AR) and Islamic Studies (IS), will be held every Sunday
School Schedule:
Assembly : 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM (Main Hall)
1st Period : 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM (Quran Class)
2nd Period : 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Arabic Class)
Snack Break: 12:00 PM to 12:19 PM
3rd Period : 12:20 PM to 1:20 PM (Islamic Studies Class)
Dismissal: After Zuhr prayer, In Shaa Allah
Program Tuition: Tuition includes books and snacks for the school year. This is a yearly tuition fee.
1 Child: $450.00
2 Children: $855.00 (5% Discount)
3 Children: $1,215.00 (10% Discount)
4 Children: $1,530.00 (15% Discount)
For 4 Children or more: $1,530.00 + $385.00 per additional child

For new students or students returning to us after a gap year:
We need to do a placement test for your child(ren) for their levels so we can see if they can be placed in a class that currently has space. We will send individual emails for date and time.
For returning students from last School Year 2024/2025:
We will be able to pull your information and inform you via email if we can register you in our program for the 2024/2054 School Year.
For waitlisted students:
Waitlist opens once regular registration period ends. If space is available for the respective course/level, we will reach out to you with more information on how to register your child(ren).

Please make sure to register each new student or a student returning to our program after a gap year for an individual slot. All placement tests will be conducted online unless directed otherwise. Details including Meeting links will be sent in an email near your allotted time. Only those that will pay at least half of the tuition will receive placement testing links and information. To secure your child's seat, half or full tuition or an agreed payment plan must be completed by PLACEMENT TESTING DATE.
Full or remaining payment is due by the FIRST DAY OF CLASS, unless you have set up a payment plan with us.
To set up a payment plan, please submit the registration form (above), fill out the agreement form below and submit it to the main office with Sr. Atiat. If you are unable to meet the deadline due to paycheck schedule, please email us ASAP to set up an alternate due date.
For the payment plan we require families to pay $100 per child as down payment and the remaining balance is to be divided over a 4 to 6 months period.
We are only accepting:
Online payment through Mohid when you fill out the online registration form.
In person payments at PGMA'a Main office with Sr. Atiat (email alamptey@pgmamd.org to schedule a time)
Post-dated checks are allowed to cover payments due but must be honored at time of presentation and/or submission of payment plan form.
This amount enables us to cover administrative expenses and incidentals like books, snacks, class items for each student as well as teachers.
To set up a payment plan, please submit the registration form (above), fill out the agreement form and submit it to the main office with Sr. Atiat.
