Hi. I'm Srujan

I believe robots are amazing if they serve a purpose. I strive to build amazing machines.

My Research interests are Computer Vision, Motion Planning, Robot Software Development, Motion Forecasting & Trajectory Prediction for Autonomous Vehicles, building real-time robotic applications

The Daikin Energy Innovation Lab is a research group led by Prof. Radermacher and Prof. Yunho Hwang at The Center for Environmental Energy Engineering

Over a period of 1 year, I developed 3 variants of robotic air-conditioning systems which use real-time face recognition, tracking to follow the users.

The GAMMA Lab is a research group led by Prof. Dinesh Manocha and Prof. Ming C Lin at University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies.

Over a period of 9 months, I worked on Behavior-based Motion Forecasting techniques for Autonomous Vehicles. Published a paper at IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters Journal. The paper is also accepted for publication in the proceedings of IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2020)

ARIS Technology is a Chicago-based startup focusing on Automated Robotic Inspection Systems.

For over an year, I developed robot software, drivers, controller for 3D inspection robots. I am fortunate to work in novel areas like mixed-reality robotics, 2D/3D AR Tracking.

I worked as a Instrument Scientist for SPecialized Research in Chaotic Systems group(SPaRCS) in the Department of Drug Discovery Science and Technology at AbbVie Inc.

AbbVie Inc is a leading Bio-Tech company head-quartered in Lake Bluff, IL. It is a spin-off of Abbott Laboratories.

Over a period of 1 year, I developed novel instruments that helped in various areas of drug discovery R&D.
