Master of Computer Applications was started in the year 2007. The MCA Department has well qualified and experienced faculty members specialized in the areas of Cloud Computing, Data Mining, Image Processing, Neural Networks, DBMS, Networking etc., The Department is facilitated with the latest infrastructure in labs classrooms and library. Guest lecturers and seminars by resourceful personalities from various IT Companies are organized periodically for the students. Students are endowed with abundant prospects not only in academic but also in co-curricular activities. Our teaching-learning process aims to mould students to flourish in the industry and also motivate them to pursue their higher studies. Students are encouraged to participate in all the inter-collegiate activities including sports and cultural performances. Industrial visits are organized for the students to give them an opportunity to gain knowledge of how things are carried out in the industries and to give them good exposure. Special placement training activities are conducted for final year students and 100% placements have been produced. The department has consistently produced university rank holders and entrepreneurs also. Our students have excelled in the field of various current trend projects too. The Department also encourages the students to do mini projects, real-time projects and also to present technical papers.

The Department of BCA was established in the year 2014 under the auspices of the Faculty of Science and Humanities with an intake of 200 students. It makes every effort to develop world-class self-disciplined graduates in computer applications who will be emerging as Social/Computer Technocrat and holding the responsibility of enriching the Technical and Research status of our Nation. The Department of BCA has an excellent scholastic ambience and infrastructure for the successful conduct of the bachelor’s programme in computer applications. The key to this effort is the dexterity among the faculty, staff and the students. This success is attributed to the dedicated and responsible faculty members of our department who imparts quality education.

The B.Sc. (Computer Science) course was started in 2016 on this campus. The department has consistently produced university rank holders. Guest lecturers and seminars by resourceful personalities from various IT Companies are organized periodically for the students. Students are endowed with abundant prospects, not only in academic but also in co-curricular activities.
