The SRKW mostly eat Chinnook Salmon. Due to the lower amount of Chinnok salmon in the wild, the SRKW end up starving. Some signs that Killer whales are starving is if they have a peanut head.
Chemical pollutants can cause damage to SRKWs nervous system, which can cause brain damage and affect their ability to reproduce. Oil spills can cause problems to SRKW if ingested.
Noise pollution can harm SRKW's ability to echolocate, which helps them find their mates and food. This could also mess with the SRKW's hearing.
