Rules & Regulations

Library Rules and Regulations:

1. Students must carry their library ID card and register their entry using the barcode scanner at the library entrance.

2. Students must follow proper discipline in the library.

3. Bags, personal files, and textbooks are not allowed inside the stack room.

4. Silence must be maintained, and smoking, tobacco, gutkha, and eating are strictly prohibited.

5. Users must handle library books and other resources carefully and must not damage or write on them.

6. Borrower cards are non-transferable, and lending borrowed books to others is strictly prohibited.

7. Reference books, dictionaries, periodicals, and project reports are available for consultation within the library only.

8. Loss of a library ID or borrower card must be reported to the librarian immediately in writing.

9. A fine of ₹5 per day will be charged for late returns, including holidays. Lost or damaged books must be replaced or paid for as per library rules.

10. Reissue of books depends on availability. Violation of library rules may result in disciplinary action by the college authorities.
