Library Profile

The college library was established in 1981 with an initial collection of 276 books and a seating capacity for 30 readers. The first accessioned book was Principles of Economics by M. L. Sheth (Accession No. 1), generously donated by our former principal, Prof. M. S. Kambli.

Initially, the library functioned with limited financial resources; however, the government grant sanctioned in the academic year 1982–83 strengthened its development. On 2nd August 1982, Ms. Indumati Patil joined as the first librarian, contributing to the growth of library services and resources.The library is located behind the main college building and currently provides reading facilities for approximately 50 students. It also houses a reading section and a separate reading room for faculty members.The library proudly displays an oil portrait of Late Smt. Taraben Sanchalaklal Bafna in recognition of her generous contribution to its development.

Today, under the guidance of the present librarian, Mr. Vipul Thakare, and with the support of a dedicated team of professional and semi-professional staff, the library provides efficient online and offline services. It remains committed to promoting academic excellence, research, independent learning, and lifelong learning among its users.
