High School Outreach Program (SHO) events for the Fall 2026 Semester will be announced as soon as possible.

SHO events offer outreach to a variety of high school students, not just those enrolled in health classes, making them inclusive of all those interested in learning about nursing! These events typically feature both lunch presentations and extended sessions with health classes, providing a unique opportunity for students who may feel unsure about pursuing nursing or healthcare.

This is a great opportunity to make an impact on students who might feel lost or uncertain about their path. During the classroom sessions, we will host interactive stations where each SNA member will guide students through basic skills like taking vital signs (including blood pressure, pulse, and respirations), giving them a hands-on feel for nursing.

We look forward to seeing everyone there and making a difference together!
