Co-President Purple: Patrick Pring

Hi! My name is Patrick. I'm a first-generation nursing student at Santa Rosa Junior College and am concurrently enrolled at Grand Canyon University in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. 

As the Co-President, I work with Hannah (Co-President) and the Board of Officers to support and strengthen SNA. My responsibilities include managing the mentorship program, drafting our monthly newsletter, assisting with SNA events and presentations, coordinating ACLS/PALS training for the nursing students, and more! 

I strive to create an inclusive environment where student nurses can succeed academically and professionally. My path into and through nursing has been influenced by the guidance and encouragement of my mentors in the nursing community, and I am passionate about sharing that same support with others!

Co-President Blue: Hannah Harris

Hello! My name is Hannah Harris, and I am a first-generation nursing student. As Co-President of SNA, I work alongside my Co-President, Patrick, and the Board of Officers to strengthen and foster the growth of the SRJC SNA. I manage the mentorship program, draft the monthly newsletter, assist with events and presentations, and much more. 

The journey to becoming a nurse is a difficult one that requires a support system; SNA has quickly become one of the most important support systems I have that will prepare me for life after graduation. I spent the last 1.5 years as a teaching assistant in the anatomy labs at SRJC, and through this learned how to effectively communicate with and assist those seeking help. I have found a passion for helping my fellow nursing students and pre-nursing students, so please do not hesitate to reach out with any and all questions you may have! 

Secretary Officer: Marian Del Rio

As the Secretary Officer, my job is to ensure the smooth functioning of SNA by maintaining accurate records, managing meeting attendance, and supporting the Membership Officer for all member-related tasks. I utilize maximum organization to help foster communication among members and ensure that important information is shared efficiently. I am passionate about student advocacy, dedicated to enhancing the student experience, and promoting professional development for future nurses. I am interested in pursuing emergency nursing or intensive care nursing.

Treasurer Officer: Ariana Acevedo

As Treasurer of the Student Nurses Association (SNA), I work closely with our officers, members, and faculty to ensure the smooth management of our finances. This includes overseeing financial reports and transactions, maintaining accurate records of member fees, and tracking other income and disbursements. 

My goal as treasurer is to encourage a positive and supportive learning environment where nursing students can thrive, collaborate, and build meaningful connections!

Membership Officer: Annette Martinez Villegas

Hello! My name is Annette. I am a first-generation Latina student. Navigating my educational journey to get to where I am today hasn’t always been the easiest. I am the first in my family to pursue a career in healthcare. The SNA community has helped me gain more knowledge about nursing and has supported me throughout my academic journey. I am one of the anatomy tutors here at SRJC, and for the past year, before I got accepted into the nursing program, I was a teaching assistant in the anatomy lab. 

As Membership officer of the Student Nurses Association (SNA), I work closely with the Treasurer and Secretary to ensure members are up to date with their requirements as far as dues and attendance. I am responsible for maintaining an accurate record of new membership forms, sending new members the SNA By-laws as a receipt, determining the photo consent status of each SNA member and documenting it accordingly, and receiving and accurately recording any meeting make-up and volunteer forms. All meeting make-up and volunteer forms should be sent to me, along with a picture of the member at the event, within 1 week of completion. I am also responsible for notifying members if there is any non-compliance that may result in termination of membership.

Fundraising Officer: Owen Bissell

As your fundraising officer, my goal is to facilitate the variety of ways the Student Nursing Association can bring in funds that go toward supporting various SNA activities, including our ACLS and PALS certification scholarships. 

Before coming to Santa Rosa JC, I worked in film and television for many years with a focus on science and nature documentary content. I am enthusiastic about being able to affect positive change in my community through nursing.

Media Manager Officer: Lilly Samson

Hi everyone! I’m Lilly Samson, the Media Manager for Santa Rosa Junior College’s Student Nurses Association. In this role, I collaborate with other officers to create fun, informative, and promotional digital content for our SNA Instagram that keeps members informed and engaged. 

As a first-generation student, I know how overwhelming it can be to navigate college without guidance, and I am passionate about making sure that no one here feels that way. Through our social media and content, my goal is to keep everyone informed, connected, and feeling that they are part of a community. From event updates and resources to relatable Instagram reels, I’m here to keep students engaged while staying true to our Association’s values.
