Co-President Purple: Juan Martinez Vega
Contact Information: srjcsnapresident@gmail.com
Hello, my name is Juan Martinez Vega, I am a third semester nursing student. As Co-President of the SRJC Student Nurses Association, I support leadership efforts by attending all meetings, managing the mentorship program, and assisting with SNA presentations and events. I draft our monthly newsletter, and collaborate with my Co-President, Patrick! I'm committed to creating a supportive environment for student nurses through mentorship, service, and teamwork.
I also work on campus as the HOPE Anatomy 1 tutor, helping students through a class I once struggled with myself. Giving back to my SRJC community is important to me—especially helping others get into the nursing program. I used to think I wouldn’t make it, but programs like HOPE made this possible, and now I get to help others the way I was helped. Do not hesitate to reach out!

Hi! My name is Brenda, and I am the Membership Officer. My duties include maintaining an accurate record of new membership forms, sending them the bylaws as a receipt, and making sure they adhere to the bylaws to maintain their membership status. I will promptly notify members of any non-compliance, including the consequences, which include termination of their membership. Non-compliance can include failing to attend the required number of meetings per semester. However, there are many opportunities to make up the meetings, and I keep a document for meeting make-up receipts. As long as it is within 1 week of the event you attended, I will accept it. I will also be responsible for determining each member's photo consent status and documenting it accordingly.
Please don't hesitate to reach out and ask questions. I want every SNA member to feel welcomed and help maintain their membership status!
