Current Research: Developing particle-based coarse-grained molecular models of membrane-protein systems (BAR domain family) by combining imaging data and continuum simulation data. This involves using an augmented Helfrich-based continuum Hamiltonian model to optimize the interaction parameters of proteins and membranes and developing an algorithm to back-map deformed continuum membranes to coarse-grained particle-based models.
