Directed Reading Program

Mentor (Spring 2023)

I took on the role of a mentor in the Directed Reading Program at the University of Missouri. During this experience, I partnered with an undergraduate mathematics major to delve into the foundational concepts of numerical semigroups and Wilf’s conjecture, which happens to be the central focus of my current research.

Association for Women in Mathematics, MU Chapter 

President (Fall 2022-Spring 2023), Vice President (Fall 2020-Spring 2022)

During my tenure at the MU chapter of the Association for Women in Mathematics, I initially held the position of vice president and later became the president. In these roles, I successfully coordinated various events such as informative talks, career panels, and social gatherings, all with the aim of fostering the advancement of people who identify as women in mathematics.

Vice President (Fall 2020-Spring 2022)

As the vice president of the AMS, I actively participated in organizing a wide range of events, including both social and professional gatherings, specifically tailored for the math department.

math@CASE Tutoring

University of Missouri-Columbia (August, 2020-December, 2021)

I offered additional instructional support to underrepresented minority students in the subjects of Precalculus and Calculus for Social and Life Sciences. Through these supplemental instruction sessions, I aimed to assist and guide these students in their understanding and mastery of the course materials.
