• May 2026: Saumya and Srinidhi attended the EMPHASIS project kick-off meeting for research collaborations with CICERO in Oslo, Norway.

• March 2026: Many congratulations to Saumya for winning the best poster award at NEC 2026!
  CARES also hosted Professor Chris Tessum (UIUC) and co-organised a hands-on workshop on Equation-based air quality modelling using https://earthsci.dev/ at IIT Bombay

• Feburary 2026: Many congratulations to Ravinder, alumni Sathish and Pranjal, and co-authors Professor Virendra Sethi and Professor Krishnendu Sinha for publishing a paper in Building and Environment. Fresh off the press to read here!

• January 2026: We launched the PAVITRA air pollution intervention tool for India. Do visit https://pavitra.org/ to learn more. 

• December 2025: Srinidhi presented a poster on ammonia observations at AGU 2025 in New Orleans, and co-convened three sessions on 'Computational Methods and Tools for Air Quality Exposure Assessments and Solutions'. Members of the Pavitra project also presented their outcomes at the Asian Aerosol Conference in Mumbai.

• October 2025: Girivendra presented his research on modelling contributions from agriculture to PM2.5 concentrations in India at the American Association for Aerosol Research Conference in Buffalo, United States. He then visited UC Berkeley and UW Seattle for research collaborations.
