Mutual aid historically has long been used by people with disabilities, prison abolitionists and other community organizers to ensure the creation of a network of community interdependence and care that acts as a response to the failures of our systems. With the rise in COVID-19 cases throughout the country, groups have formed mutual aid networks; thereby using community networks as a solution to many of our political, economic, and social issues to great effect. This document, this idea, this work would not be possible with the work of many.
