Anaesthetic Department Teaching - all day Wednesdays if applicable. If Clinical Governance, teaching may not occur.

Please look at your timetable and sign up to which content you would like to prepare. To do this - click on the top right to expand it - and then can add name. Please do not delete others.' names. If you are on a normal day we would expect that you would be at teaching (unless on leave etc!). If you are carrying a bleep, you often need to stay in that clinical area and will not be scheduled for teaching.

For basic science topic - we recommend the book "Basic Physiology for Anaesthetists". There is a copy in the department and one in the library. The BJAed also has a wealth of useful articles. We have published this early to give you plenty of time to prepare your content. Remember - a lot of the learning comes from preparing the content, as well as sharing it with your peers.

If you want to ask a question of the facilitator - the names are on the calendar above. If you are allocated to teaching but have not put your name down - we will allocate you a topic 7-10 days prior to the teaching day and will still expect some content.
