Head Cross Country Coach
Born and raised in Chula Vista, California, Coach Warren competed on the cross country and track team at Hilltop High School. He continued his running career at Southwestern College and later on at Humboldt State.
From 1994 through 2004, he competed in almost one hundred road races, finishing first in the age group division several times. During that period, Coach Warren became a personal coach to several high school runners. He began coaching at Scripps Ranch High School in 2011, starting as an assistant to former college coach John Clemmens and then becoming the head coach at Scripps in 2012.
Coach Warren moved to Scripps Ranch in 1998 with his sons, Jake (Class of '10) and Brady (Class of '15).
Assistant Cross Country Coach
Assistant Coach, Eileen Quinn, is an avid runner and has competed in 10K road races. Coach Eileen is passionate about athlete nutrition, injury prevention and recovery, and the development of young athletic talent. Certifications and training: National Federation of High School Coaching (NFHS) Coach Level 1 & 2. NFHS Course Specifics: Fundamentals of Coaching, NFHS Cross Country, Sports Nutrition, Heat Illness Prevention, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, First Aid & CPR, Concussion in Sports, and Student Mental Health.
