Upcoming Schedule Changes:
July 3 is pre-race shakeout run, pasta feed and Alumni Day at the lake at 5:30 All new and returning runners are encouraged to attend. No morning Run Club meetup on July 3
The lake will be closed on Tues., July 7. The Summer Run Club will meet that week on July 6 (Mon.), 8 (Wed.) and 10 (Fri.)
Workout Schedule for week of 6/22
Mon.- Returning runners - 35 min...all others 25 min
Tues. at the lake- Returning runners- 40 min easy to med pace...all others- 30-35 min. Everyone at easy to medium pace + 6 strides and core
Wed. at the lake- 30-40 min easy + core
Thurs.- OFF
Fri.- Tempo run at the lake. w/o...we will explain on Friday
Sat.- 35-45 min easy + 6 strides
Sun.- OFF
If you will be joining the SRHS cross country team in the fall (new and returning runners):
EVERYONE needs a sports physical dated AFTER June 10, 2026. Remember that you must be athletically cleared before you can practice with the team starting Aug. 3. Sports physical form and link to Home Campus on Sportyou. Join Sportsyou if you are definitely joining the cross country team:

July 3 5:30 Miramar Lake: Alumni Day (current and past team members and families welcome and encouraged!). Mini pasta feed for everyone who might be running the 10K the next day! Help spread the word to the alumni you may know! RSVP for headcount to srhsxcboosters@gmail.com
August 3-7 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. @ SRHS Track. Official first week of practice
August 12 7:00 p.m. Time Trial

Summer Run Club begins at the Lake on Tuesday, June 16th at 8:30 am. More details on Summer Run Club here.
Workout Schedule:
Monday, June 15th: No organized workout. Returning runners, go 30 minutes at easy pace.
Tuesday, June 16th: Summer Run Club starts! Meet at Miramar Lake by the bathrooms/concession in the second parking lot. Runners will do these workouts based upon experience levels:
Group 1 (returning runners, in shape): 35 minutes
Group 2 (returning runners, new runners with experience): 25 minutes
Group 3 (new runners): 20 minutes
All will also do strides and core (so bring a towel, yoga mat, or blanket for this part)
Wednesday, June 17th: Summer Run Club Workout @ 8:30 at Lake Miramar
Group 1: 30 minutes
Group 2: 25 minutes
Group 3: 20 min utes
All groups will also do core.
Thursday, June 18th: OFF
Friday, June 19th: Summer Run Club Workout @ 8:30 at Lake Miramar
Group 1: 40 minutes
Group 2: 30 minutes
Group 3: 25 minutes
All will do strides and core.
Saturday, June 20th: no organized workout. On your own, do:
Group 1: 35 minutes
Group 2: 35 minutes
Group 3: 25 minutes
