Why Peer Tutoring?

SRHS Peer Tutoring is, at heart, for students, by students. The club is mostly completely student-run, and many of our tutors have taken the same classes and experienced the same teachers as you have! This means that our tutors can assist you greatly in navigating any given class. Moreover, peer tutors are also a great resource in getting advice, whether that be related to study skills, what extracurriculars to involve yourself in, or much more! Just remember, there is never any shame in going to tutoring - it is not a symbol of being incompetent. Rather, it is a symbol of the opposite; it shows that you are proactive, perseverent, and a self-advocate.

• 0% of respondents stated that Peer Tutoring was "not at all helpful"!

As you can see, there is nothing to lose by going to Peer Tutoring if you are having struggles in a certain class. Even if you already have an "A", but are simply trying to get a better handle of a concept, Peer Tutoring is for you!
