Welcome to my website!
I am a macroeconomist with research interests in economic growth and development, economic history, and applied microeconomics. My research examines the long-term demographic and economic effects of historical disruptions and agricultural practices in Cambodia.
I completed my Ph.D. in Economics at York University, Toronto, in 2025. I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at CERDI, Université Clermont Auvergne (2025-2027), working on the ECOTERM project. This project examines ecosystem services derived from termite mounds in the lower Mekong Basin.
My research combines field survey data with econometric analysis to assess impacts on agricultural productivity and household welfare, including health and well-being. As a postdoctoral researcher in development economics, I collaborate with local partners and stakeholders to support sustainable farming practices. I also design participatory workshops with farming communities and contribute to research dissemination through academic and policy outputs.
