My research interests are at the intersection between mechanics and biology. My core expertise is in mechanical modeling of biological systems, and designing and fabricating compliant micromechanisms for manipulating single cells. I am also proficient at various biomechanical and biochemical experimental techniques. I believe that for doing cutting-edge research, one should be adept at creating new devices, performing experiments with them and extracting principles from experimental observations through modeling.

I intend to develop next-generation diagnostic and therapeutic techniques by leveraging my expertise and knowledge in biomechanics and mechanobiology.
