$quirrel Apps develops personal finance and family financial education applications 

available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This privacy policy covers 

all $quirrel applications:

• $quirrel Budget & Finance

• $quirrel Debt Payoff

• $quirrel Paycheck Calc

• $quirrel Family Stash

We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, especially children.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The $quirrel applications, including all code, design, graphics, text, features, 

and functionality, are owned by $quirrel Apps and are protected by United States 

and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You 

may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our apps without 

explicit written permission from the owner.

DATA STORAGE

$quirrel Budget & Finance, $quirrel Debt Payoff, and $quirrel Paycheck Calc store 

all financial data locally on your device. This data never leaves your device unless 

you use optional cloud sync features.

$quirrel Family Stash stores data both locally on your device AND securely in 

Firebase Firestore (Google Cloud, United States) to enable household sync across 

devices and co-parent access.

ACCOUNT INFORMATION

$quirrel Budget & Finance, $quirrel Debt Payoff, and $quirrel Paycheck Calc work 

fully offline with no account required.

$quirrel Family Stash requires a parent account for household management and cloud 

sync. We collect only the parent's email address for Firebase Authentication. We do 

not sell or share your email for any purpose.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA)

$quirrel Family Stash is designed for use by families with children ages 6–17, 

under direct parental supervision. We comply fully with the Children's Online 

Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

We do NOT:

• Collect personal information directly from children

• Allow children to create accounts independently

• Share children's data with third parties

• Display advertising to children

• Track children's behavior across apps or websites

All child profiles (name, age group, level, chore and lesson activity) are created 

and managed by parents within the parent's account. This data is stored securely in 

Firebase Firestore and is only accessible to the parent account holder.

$quirrel Budget & Finance, $quirrel Debt Payoff, and $quirrel Paycheck Calc are 

not directed at children under 13.

• Parent email address — for account authentication only

• Household and family name — to personalize the experience

• Child profiles — name, age group, level, chore/lesson/goal activity

• Usage data — chores completed, lessons finished, goals progress

No $quirrel application uses advertising, analytics platforms, or third-party 

tracking of any kind. We do not collect usage data or behavioral information 

for marketing purposes. We do not sell your data to anyone.

OPTIONAL CLOUD SYNC

If you enable cloud sync, your data is stored securely using Google Firebase. 

Firebase is operated by a third-party provider and subject to industry-standard 

security practices. We do not have access to your synced financial data beyond 

what is necessary to provide the service.

PURCHASES & SUBSCRIPTIONS

$quirrel Budget & Finance, $quirrel Debt Payoff, and $quirrel Paycheck Calc are 

available as one-time purchases. Payment is handled entirely by Apple App Store 

or Google Play. We do not collect or store payment information.

$quirrel Family Stash is available as a subscription ($4.99/month or $39.99/year 

with a 7-day free trial). Subscription billing is handled entirely by Apple App 

Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). We do not collect or store payment information.

To manage or cancel your subscription:

• iOS: Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions

• Android: Google Play → Subscriptions

DATA DELETION

$quirrel Budget & Finance, $quirrel Debt Payoff, $quirrel Paycheck Calc:

Uninstall the app to delete all local data. If you enabled cloud sync, email us 

at MySquirrelNutStash@gmail.com to request permanent deletion of your cloud data.

$quirrel Family Stash:

In-app deletion: Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete My Account & All Data

This permanently removes your household, all child profiles, chores, transactions, 

lessons, and goals from our servers.

By email: MySquirrelNutStash@gmail.com — verify your identity and we will complete 

your deletion request within 30 days.
