Welcome to the Square Site (S2). This is the home of the Square Seminars (S2), the Square Symposia (S2), and the Square Summer School (S3). The Square Structure (S2) of these is as follows:
the Square Seminars (S2) are informal platforms for postgraduate students in theoretical physics and closely related areas to share and discuss their research (or anything else they may find interesting and deem appropriate) to an audience of their peers. You can find out more about the seminars, including the Square Seminars Schedule (S3) for the current Square Seminars Season (S3), here.
the Square Symposia (S2) consist of lectures offered by postgraduate students intended for a scientifically educated audience. They are an opportunity for PhD students to communicate curious aspects of their area of expertise to researchers that are not necessarily experts on such topics. The declared objective is to bring the scientific community closer together, while possibly opening the road to interdisciplinary collaborations between students with distinct educational backgrounds.
the Square Summer School (S3) is a work in progress.
