Coffee Garage Updates
September 22, 2020: Our indoor café seating is open, and we are now open on Monday's! Come on in, grab a drink, take a seat and get some work done or relax. Extra cleaning and sanitization processes continue to be in place and please remember to wear a mask when coming inside. We have rolled out our fall menu and it's super tasty. Sincere thank you's are owed to all of our friends and neighbors who have supported this little neighborhood coffee shop through these strange times. You are the community, you are the experience, you are the reason we thrive, you are strong. We couldn't have done it without you!!
April 12, 2020: The Square Mile Coffee Company Team continues to monitor the status of COVID-19 in the Cincinnati area and will remain open to the public for carry-out orders only. We are offering a free takeaway set of vinyl gloves and packet of hand sanitizer for anyone who visits the shop. Supplies are limited so please take one if you need one.
As we evaluate operational changes to help you maintain social distancing from other customers as well as our staff, we are now able to offer mobile order ahead & pickup in-store options for you (check out the links above).
We are offering a limited menu online for you to order drinks in advance and we will be expanding the menu as we test the process and determine the best way to expand our offerings to you. We also believe this will help limit your time in the shop awhile maximizing social distancing practices.

March 16, 2020: The Square Mile Coffee Company Team is monitoring the status of COVID-19 in the Cincinnati area and will remain open to the public, however, we will be fulfilling carry-out orders only. Starting on Wednesday March 18th, 2020, we will be doing our part to support the current efforts of the State of Ohio to minimize exposure to COVID-19 by limiting the congregation of people inside of the coffee shop. We will be operating during our normal business hours of Wednesday through Sunday, 6am to 3pm. You will still be able to come inside to order drinks or food, but for carry-out service. We would like to thank everyone that has been posting online showing their support of small businesses in Mt. Healthy and other communities.
We encourage our customers and community to monitor updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Ohio Department of Health, State of Ohio Office of the Governor, Hamilton County Public Health, and other official information outlets.
We are pleased to report our Team and the surrounding community remains healthy and in positive spirits during this time. We've increased our shop sanitization frequency and are evaluating other alternatives to support and maintain your well-being as well as your family, friends, and neighbors.
All surfaces in our shop are cleaned and sanitized routinely with products recommended by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for Coronavirus sanitization. We encourage you to review this listing of cleaning products to help with sanitation efforts in your home, office, or small business.
In addition to surface cleaning, we continue to serve beverages and food following the best practices, rules, and procedures established by the CDC, National Restaurant Association, and Hamilton County Board of Health. The National Restaurant Association’s training program, ServSafe, provides a great overview of how to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.

January 18, 2020: We are finally open!!!! Woot woot! Come check us out Wednesday through Sunday, 6am - 3pm. For a little while we will be open 5 days a week until we get any kinks worked out, and expand to 6 and 7 days in the near future. Thanks to all of our family, friends, and neighbors who have helped make this dream come true, cheers to everyone!

September 13, 2019: With all the proper paper being sent in to the Hamilton County Health Department, City of Mt. Healthy, and Engineers, we are getting just weeks away from a solid opening date! That said... SMCC will be releasing an online job application within the week! Gearing up for Celebrate Mt. Healthy September 14, 3PM - 6PM.
August 19, 2019: We are working closely with all of our contractors to make sure that every inch of our space is perfect! Tom and our electrician, Ken are working on materials for our coffee bar.
July 3, 2019: Our team is collaborating with architects to make sure the proper layout is being set for all of our customers to appreciate.

May 8, 2019: Coffee Shop construction is officially underway, we'll be putting together a video of the progress and post a cool time lapse when we are done so everyone can see how the project evolved, so stay tuned. Once the designs have been completed and permits finalized, we'll be able to update everyone with an opening date. Thanks for all the patience and support!
May 2, 2019: The business is officially funded, WOOT WOOT!
Jan. 20, 2019: January continues to be a flurry of meetings and conference calls with design consultants, lawyers, accountants, and Cincinnati SCORE small business mentors. We're hitting the pavement and board rooms to get us squared away and ready to open as soon as everything is in place. Check back with us often to get the latest updates and event schedule.
