Spring Homeschool Formal Dress Code Guidelines
We are excited to welcome you to the Spring Homeschool Formal! To ensure everyone enjoys a comfortable and respectful environment, we kindly ask that all attendees follow the dress code outlined below.
1. Dress Guidelines:
Dresses that are overly revealing, including those that display cleavage (even from a higher vantage point), are excessively tight around the rear, or feature an open back extending past the midline beneath the arms or waist, are not permitted.
Dresses or skirts that are too short, such as those that fall more than three inches above the knee or may display the rear when bending, are not allowed.
Skirts that spin above the mid-thigh require shorts to be worn underneath.
Women may also choose to wear dress shirts and pants as an alternative to dresses.
2. Dress Length Testing:
If necessary, dress length will be measured from the kneecap to the edge of the skirt. Dresses should not be more than three inches above the knee.
You may also be asked to raise your arms to ensure the dress stays at its appropriate length without needing adjustment.
3. Compliance with the Dress Code:
If the dress code is not acceptable to you or you are unable to follow the guidelines, we regret that you will not be able to purchase a ticket for the Spring Homeschool Formal.
4. Dress Code Violations:
If you arrive at the event wearing an outfit that does not comply with the dress code, you will be given three options:
Leave the event.
Return home and change into a garment that adheres to the dress code.
Work with us to resolve the issue on-site.
5. Our Right to Ensure Compliance:
Event organizers and volunteers reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if a dress code violation is not addressed or if the attendee is unwilling to make the necessary adjustments.
Please note that tickets are non-refundable in the event of a dress code violation.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to an enjoyable and memorable evening!
Spring Homeschool Formal Dress Code for Men
We are thrilled to have you join us for the Spring Homeschool Formal. To help create a respectful and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone, we ask that all attendees follow these dress guidelines:
1. Attire Guidelines:
Shirts with low necklines that reveal chest hair or skin below the top of the sternum are not appropriate for this formal event.
Casual attire, such as shorts, jeans, sweatpants, or athletic pants, should be avoided.
A neat and clean appearance is expected, in line with the formal nature of the event.
Men are also asked to wear traditionally masculine attire, which excludes dresses, skirts, or other clothing typically considered feminine.
2. Compliance with the Dress Code:
If this dress code doesn’t align with your preferences, we kindly ask that you reconsider purchasing a ticket, as adherence is required for participation in the formal.
3. In the Event of a Dress Code Violation:
If you arrive wearing attire that does not meet the dress code, we will provide you with the following options:
Leave the event and return home.
Return home to change into a suitable outfit and rejoin the event.
Work with event organizers to find a solution on-site, if possible.
4. Ensuring a Positive Experience for All:
Our team reserves the right to ask anyone to leave if the dress code violation is not addressed or if a resolution cannot be reached.
Please note that, due to the nature of the event, ticket payments will not be refunded if an attendee is asked to leave for dress code or other safety related reasons.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a pleasant and respectful evening for everyone. We look forward to celebrating with you at the Spring Homeschool Formal!
