Welcome to Springfield School.

Nestled at the foothills of the Southern Alps, Springfield School is a 2.59 teacher U1 contributing primary school. Our staff is made up of a teaching principal who is supported by a part time teacher in a job share position and one full time teacher. We currently have one teacher aide and an office manager. The staff are supported by a committed Board of Trustees and an active PTA to ensure the school is well equipped, resourced and funded. Springfield School is a focal point within the community and currently has 43 students on its roll.

This year we opened the doors for the first time to our new school. The school was earmarked for a complete rebuild in 2019. The children are all very proud of their new learning spaces. Our next major project consists of landscaping and this has been designed to be completed in 7 stages - 3 of which are now all but complete.

Later this year we hope to officially open our school and celebrate our belated 150th jubilee, which has been delayed due to the rebuild project and Covid 19.Lock in October 28-30 October 2022 - we hope to see you there
