What are Clearances?
Clearances are mandatory background checks required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) for anyone who may have direct, unsupervised contact with students.

Act 114 Volunteer Affidavit or FBI Criminal Clearance Form (Act 114) Service Code: 1KG6XN (If you have lived in PA for the last consecutive 10 years, you may complete the Act 114 Affidavit in leiu of the FBI Criminal Cleanace Form)
Clearances are good for five years from issue date. Once you have ALL of your clearances, please email them to us at the Spring Ridge office. (SpringRidgeHSA1@gmail.com). If you have any questions or are struggling to complete your clearances, please send us an email and we are happy to help!
As a Spring Ridge Volunteer, you CAN:
Help at one event
Share ideas/suggestions
Help from home (Clearances not Required)
Join the HSA and support our students
Sponsor or donate to one or more events
As a Spring Ridge Volunteer, you do NOT need to:
Attend every HSA Meeting
Volunteer every month
Take on a leadership role
Help at every event
Spend any money or donate items
