Learning a new language takes practice – especially speaking. To support accompanying spouses in this process, The International Spouse Program hosts Swedish Fika & Language Cafés. 

This a relaxed, social hour where we practise everyday Swedish while enjoying a classic Swedish fika. It’s designed as a complement to SFI – less classroom, more conversation. 

No preparation is needed, and it’s completely okay to make mistakes. All levels of Swedish are welcome, from beginners to more advanced speakers. The goal is to feel more confident speaking Swedish in real-life situations.
