Our school follows the CLIL methodology and the English teachers teach English language, Music, Social Values, Arts and English projects. The number of teachers is 25 and there are 300 students.

10th Primary School is situated in Elefsina, Greece. Elefsina is a a suburb of Athens and it's well-known about its long ancient history of the Elefsinian mysteries as well as its modern industrial history. It's the city which combines culture with factories and work and it's the European Capital of culture for the year 2023.
Our school has 25 teachers and 280 students aged 6-12. It follows the standard Greek state curricula. The teachers try to implement European projects and give opportunities to students both for formal and informal learning. We have successfully coordinated an Erasmus partnership with the title: Let's go cultural and we have participated in various events of intercultural exchange.
Through this eTwinning partnership we expect students to get actively involved in language and ICT learning while keeping fit. The idea of cross-cultural communication which was initiated through our past Erasmus partnership will be even more boosted. The tecahers will collaborate, exchange their good practices and contribute with their expertise to the success of this partnership.
Ms Constantina Voitsiou, the English teacher and Ms Zoe Agathou, the sports teacher will be in charge of the project and will carry out the activities in the Greek school. At the same time, the rest of the school teachers will participate with their classes at times, in order to disseminate the project to the rest of the school community.
Whitehouse Common Primary School is situated in Sutton Coldfield, 8 miles /13km north of Birmingham. It is a primary school with 454 pupils aged 3-11. The school has three buildings - the Acorns where pupils aged 3-7 (EYFS and KS1) learn , the Oaks where pupils aged 7-11 (KS2) learn and in the middle, the Juniper Suite which houses the school library, the ICT suite, the staffroom and the Saplings room. We are fortunate to have playgrounds for both buildings as well as one for Nursery, as well as play equipment like climbing frames, a tyre park, basketball hoops and pagodas for outdoor class activities. Our school is also blessed with lots of green space around the classrooms, and Outdoor Learning is very important to us; we are a Forest School and each class has a six - eight week block of Forest Schools activities each year (EYFS do it every week!)
Our school follows the English National Curriculum with pupils learning English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, RE (Religious Education), PSHE (Personal Social Health and Economic education) , PE (Physical Education), Music, Art, Design Technology and Spanish.
Whitehouse Common has a long history of international collaboration, starting in 2007 with an eTwinning project with Spain all about festivals that won a UK eTwinning award in 2007-8. We currently hold the International School Award and also the Global Schools Alliance Bronze and Silver Awards. As well as this project, we are involved in two other eTwinning projects, are part of the Global Schools Alliance Primary Student Council, exchange postcards via Postcrossing and are involved in other one off activities.
This project will be led by Lisa Stevens, the Languages and International coordinator and the Languages and Global Ambassadors, a group of children who have volunteered to support and promote the linguistic and cultural exchanges. All pupils will have the opportunity to participate in activities, directly or indirectly, and other staff will be involved as we continue to celebrate the links we made over the past few years.

"Volksschule Wildbach" is a public primary school and is located in Deutschlandsberg, Austria. The small village Wildbach belongs to the federal state of Styria. Our primary school has 14 teachers and 115 studends aged 6 to 10.
We follow the Austrian National Curriculum. But the individual concept of our school is based on the Jenaplan, which is an educational combination of conversation, work, play and celebration. The mix of ages plays a very important role within the Jenaplan pedagogy. Because of that our school has many multi-grade classes.
Social and communicative learning methods are preferred, such as partner work, group work and interdisciplinary project work. Working on individual weekly plans or learning in stations promotes our children's independence and offers space to practice learning content. Our teachers help the children with planning, observe and provide assistance.
Moreover our school is blessed with lots of green space around the classrooms and a big sports ground. So learning outdoor is very important to us too.
English is part of the timetable and all classes have one hour a week. Together with our Native Speaker Anette Wesseling and the class teachers, the children are familiarized with the English language and develop a well-founded basic vocabulary.
This collaborative eTwinning project (Sporty English & Tech Games) is a great chance to motivate our students to learn the Englisch language. Ms Janine Obrist and Ms Manuela Gigerl will be in charge of the project and will carry out the activities in the Austrian school together with Ms Nathania Judmayer, the sports teacher.
