Position:
Feet spread apart. Knees bent.
Dont tap the ball down. Push it down
Drills:
Dribble on dot. (left hand dribble, right hand dribble, crossover dribble)
Dribble while moving
Dribble to layup
Left hand on side of ball. Right hand in middle. Knees bent
Push with right hand toward hoop, while bringing knees up
Follow through
Position ball in chest with two hands.
Plant right foot forward and push with right hand
Bounce passing: Pass ball approx ⅔ of the way to teammate
Defense- hands spread out. Active hands! Knees bent and legs spread apart.
Boxing out- Teach how to always stay with the offensive player even when he doesnt have the ball. The moment the ball is in the air, position your back to offensive player and ‘box him out’ (no matter where the player is on the court)
