I have contributed significantly to national and continental sport development in Ghana through my work with the Ministry of Youth & Sports, the African Paralympic Committee, and major events such as the 13th African Games and the African Para Games. As a Protocol Officer for the 13th African Games, I supported event delivery for 54 African countries by coordinating VIP/VVIP protocol, managing accreditation and medal ceremonies, and assisting with venue readiness and logistics. My research role with the African Paralympic Committee strengthened disability sport planning for the first-ever African Para Games, earning recognition through the African Paralympic Committee Research Award. Beyond major events, I contributed to the Ministry’s Youth Development and Youth Connect Programs, where I helped motivate and engage over 100,000 students across Ghana, promoting sports participation, leadership, and healthy lifestyles. I also hosted sport professional workshops for young athletes and university students, providing guidance on careers in sport, leadership development, mental health literacy, and professional conduct. Additionally, I supported national travel and logistics planning for Ghana’s delegations to international competitions, including the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Across all these projects, my impact reflects a deep commitment to advancing sport systems, empowering youth, and strengthening Ghana’s capacity to host world-class sporting events.
