Sport for Equality 2.0: Fostering Inclusion Through Sports
Building on its predecessor, Sport for Equality 2.0 tackles persistent inequalities by promoting social inclusion through sports. This EU-supported initiative empowers refugees, migrants, young women, disadvantaged youth, and other vulnerable groups across Poland, Portugal, and Spain. It combines inclusive sporting events, capacity building, and policy advocacy to instill values like equality, solidarity, and respect. Key efforts include an online resource hub, workshops for stakeholders, and advocacy for inclusive sports policies, ensuring a lasting cultural shift towards inclusivity in sports and society.
