You do not need to reinstall Spool to request deletion. Email spool.help@gmail.com from the email associated with your Spool account, using the subject "Spool account deletion". Tell us that you want your Spool account and its cloud inventory deleted. Do not send passwords, authentication codes or tokens.
We may ask for information needed to verify account ownership before processing a request. If you no longer have access to the account email, contact us and explain the situation. We will tell you what verification is possible and confirm the outcome or any additional steps. Your Google account itself will not be deleted.
In an app version that includes account deletion, open Settings, then Account, choose Delete account and read the confirmation before continuing. A connection is required. Older app versions may not have this option; the email request route above remains available.
Deletion is permanent. It removes the Spool authentication account and its cloud inventory, print history, retained deleted-item snapshots and inventory synchronization records. The in-app flow also removes that account's inventory, local Recovery copies and pending changes from the device performing deletion, including changes that have not synced. Guest inventory and other Spool accounts on that device are kept.
If the app cannot confirm the server result, it keeps local account data and pauses changes and synchronization for that account on that device. Reconnect and retry account deletion. If retry or sign-in is unavailable, contact support using the email request route above. Reopening the app does not automatically send a new deletion request.
Deleting a Spool account does not remotely erase offline copies from your other devices or Android system backups. Clear Spool app storage or uninstall it on other devices if you also want to remove those local copies. Manage any system backups through your device or backup provider. Be aware that clearing app storage can remove guest data and other accounts stored on that device too.
Deleting through the app removes active cloud account and inventory records after the server confirms the operation. Email requests are processed after ownership is verified; contact us for the status of a request. Operational security logs, correspondence needed to handle the request and provider backups may remain under applicable provider retention rules or where required by law. These are not available as an active Spool inventory account. We do not promise that copies in provider backups are erased immediately.
Signing out, uninstalling, deleting an individual spool or removing a copy from local Recovery does not by itself delete your Spool account and cloud inventory.
