Splash 4: Using Reports for Remediation & Acceleration
This week's focus is pulling reports and utilizing them to provide individualized instruction. Using the multiple reports provided from SplashLearn, you will be able to group students that require remediation or may be ready for acceleration.
Section 1 will guide you on accessing the multiple report types for differentiation. For Section 2, I have provided you with two articles for review. Both articles provide remediation and acceleration strategies and how data can drive instructional decisions. After you have completed both sections, be sure to find the challenge at the bottom of this page.
Section 2: Remediation & Acceleration Strategies
Challenge for the week:
Utilizing the step-by-step presentation or the how to videos provided in Section 1, pull reports for the practice assignment and assessment you assigned in week two and three.
Review the two articles provided in Section 2. Both articles provide strategies for utilizing data to drive personalized instruction.
Using the discussion board button, post how your students performed on the practice assignment and assessment. Reflect on what weaknesses you discovered from the reports and strategies you plan to implement to meet the needs of all students.
