Meet Cody/Spiral!!!

Hello! I'm Cody/Spiral, the fur behind all the work! I'm a small artist and fursuit maker located in the Bay Area! I'm an illustrator who specializes in character design and digital art, but I also love to use different mediums on the side, such as plushie making; and of course, my suit work. I started making fursuits at the very end of December 2022 with my best friend on the eve of Further Confusion. Since then, I've been creating and improving, and still learning now at a wonderful two years of suit making. Currently, I am a full-time suit maker!

My main fursona, Riot has been my main since sophomore year of high school, when she was just a little doodle on some notebook paper that I did instead of paying attention to art class. Fun fact: her fur used to be bright pink instead of black! Eventually, after about three years, my close friends made her come to life, to which I'm super grateful still. Her 1.0 suit was made by my best friend, King (modified by me), and her 2.0 was made by me!

My secondary suit, Riku, is the sweet black and white kitty above! She was made by my best friend, King.

What cons do I attend? Where can you be found?

I currently do not attend furry conventions anymore, and do not have plans to go to any due to financial issues and mistreatment/harassment/abuse by con workers. I attend FanExpo SF though (as of 2026, FanExpo has been cancelled due to the con not booking a location).

I also have been a marcher in the San Francisco Pride Parade, and attend general local meets when I'm able. I host my own meets as well (StarPaws Meetup). Sometimes, I will attend raves, parties, and clubs in suit!
