Uniforms

The "formal" uniform consists of a forest green oxford or polo shirt, khaki pants/shorts/skirt, neck cord, and a chocolate brown capuchin (capuche) or sash. These would be worn for events at which we are representing the Circle (fairs, community gatherings, etc), and for ceremonies within the Circle.

"Activity" uniforms are the same, except that the shirt may be a forest green polo shirt, or short-sleeved oxford and belt and shoes that are appropriate for the occasion. Sashes or capuches may be worn with the activity uniform.

Uniforms aren’t required at every event. We’ll work together to make sure all scouts have one. Thrifting, trading, and upcycling are encouraged!

Casual attire allowed whenever possible/appropriate, such as for community service and other events that will involve lots of physical activity and movement.

When joining Golden Acorn Circle #430, we encourage everyone (scouts and adults) to acquire at least a forest green polo shirt for patches to be displayed.
