These pieces of art work were contributed to the South Asian Cinema Foundation by the students and alumni of Satit Prasarnmit International Programme (SPIP) and their sister-school Satit Prasarnmit Demonstration School. These schools are under the management of the prestigious Srinakharinwirot University, of which the Thai princess Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn is an alumni.

I researched about him [King Rama 6] and found that he’s Thailand's first cartoonist, the first to publish drawings in magazines. Originally, they are called ‘Pap Lor’ which is a type of cartoon. I took the inspiration of using lines mostly instead of colouring and using greyscale to recreate the sense of cartoons that he used to draw.

In the whole process, what I enjoyed the most was when I painted the background because I think it was kind of fun when I tried to splash the paint over the frame.
For me, the most challenging part of the process was when I had to draw every element, like King Rama VI, the building, and the uniformed student, onto the frame because I don’t really good at drawing pictures, but I tried my best to do it.
Through creating my art contribution, I learned lots of things, especially for my drawing skill that I don’t have to draw to make it look similar to the picture I have for example, but I can draw only what I saw on it, because it can be a unique way how I represent my artwork.
