What Can We Expect From ‘2024LETSGO’?

‘2024LETSGO’ is a dance album through and through, and the styles vary throughout: from classic EDM and house music to hard dance, drum and bass, headbanging rock, some metal, funk, disco undertones and much more. 

What's Your Favorite Thing About This Album?

I love the variety of styles - it's all dance, but there are so many genres of dance represented here.

How Does This Album Reflect You as an Artist?

This album is the first thing I've created that really shows a window into who I am and my personality. It's dancey, it's quirky, it hits hard, and I'm sure there are some things that will shock people.

What Do You Hope People Take Away From This?

A good time. On the dancefloor, in the car, exercising, cleaning house, whatever it is...this album offers a unique journey for the listener that I hope leaves them feeling like they had a lotta fun, a great time.

Where Do You Get Your Song Ideas?

Often times, I wake up with a concept. Sometimes, it's just come to me randomly. I definitely don't have a rigid process - sometimes I do music first and then work on adding vocals later or vice versa, but it all comes together organically.

What Can We Expect on This Journey?

I believe movement is life. We always need to keep moving. I created this album with that in mind. If we stop moving, everything slows, we stop growing. The album features many styles of dance but one thing is constant, as a collection it is designed to motivate and keep you moving. Our journey has just begun, but every journey begins with a single step. So, 2024LETSGO!

What Did You Learn on Your Journey?

I learned so much when making this album. From a production sense learning new tools that were coming out everyday and also about myself. When I listen to so many of the songs back, especially as a collection, I was surprised at how they all came together - I didn't realize I had such strong opinions about things until I heard them back, like in songs 'Come on Strong' and 'I'm Just Bending Over,' which are pretty bold, but they are very me. 

One of my favorites is 'Creeper,' which is sung from the vantage point of a stalker (inspired by my love of horror and suspense movies), and I can't wait to hear it more around Halloween. And songs like the very direct 'Customer Served' or 'My DNA' are pretty assertive and in your face (like, literally, in the case of 'My DNA': ...'I'm gonna get my DNA all over your face.') 

So as I stand at this place in my journey and look back at what I've created with '2024LETSGO,' I am very proud and happy with the final product. But it's definitely not DONE...as now it comes out into the world and will hopefully join others in their journeys. 

And as I turn with hope and excitement to see what's next on my journey, we'll likely see the result of that next year (or maybe even sooner). Every journey has a purpose. Everyone of us has a purpose. And I wish you all the very best in your journeys. 2024LETSGO!
