1. 'Addicted to the Nighttime' - A big room anthem banger, this one is meant to be played loud during peak hour.
2. 'Perfect' - This is a classic house banger empowerment song about no longer accepting nothing but the best. Do you have what it takes? Could it be perfect? It could be perfect.
3. 'My DNA' - A big bangin', hard-hitting rave track with super pervy undertones, that I love. 'I'm gonna get my DNA all over the place, here it comes, all over your face.'
4. 'You Think I Don't Know' - About confronting a cheater head on with no time for excuses, this minimal house banger just begs for dancefloor interpretation and lip-synchs: 'I'm not stupid, and I wasn't born yesterday...I know what you're doing, get out of my face.'
5. 'Go' - With soaring stadium-rock inspired guitar riffs and hard crashing drums, I believe headbanging fans of rock and hard dance will like this banger you'd easily hear at a mosh pit. Like my own personal taste, I like tracks that make you move, and this one does just that, it's just a little bit harder than the others.
6. 'Come on Strong' - I love every song on this album, but this one really holds a special place for me. If there was ever a window into my soul, this headstrong rock banger would be it. Not to mention, it's a great song to listen to when sitting in traffic. Maybe just roll the windows up so people don't hear you yelling 'Can't stand this heat? Get out of my way!' at them.
7. 'All I Want Is' - A hardstyle dance banger that is intended to embrace the 'gimme' culture of wanting more more more. While it goes unsaid here, for me personally, the unspoken word is 'More.' Meaning, the lyrics repeat 'All I Want Is,' 'Want want want, gimme gimme gimme,' leaving it up to the listener to decide what the missing word is. But for me, it's just 'More.' 'All I Want Is More.'
8. 'Techno for Breakfast' Cover your kids' ears for the explicit lyrics in this hardstyle techno-meets-drum n bass raver...opening up with the sounds of cereal pouring, I drew inspiration for this banger thinking back to when I was first going out in the club scene, I could party all night. And by the time the daylight was breaking, I wasn't always ready for the night to be over, and I could still keep going, so that's where that concept came from. Everyone else out there in the world wants cereal and pancakes and orange juice at breakfast, thanks, but until they kick me out of the club, I'll take more techno. In short, I know breakfast time isn't typically techno time, but I don't care.
9. 'I Got It' - This was the second song I ever produced, and I wanted it to sound like an old-school house track, so I focused on keeping the production somewhat sparse. I love retro music and the fact that we are at a place with the evolution of dance music where we now can look back at historical styles of electronic music, and I feel this one goes that way - with a bit of attitude, of course.
10. 'Just in Time' This one holds a special place for me, as it was the first song I ever produced. The late 70s is one of my all-time favorite eras for dance (and fashion and movies, too), and I wanted to do a song that sounded like it could've been released in 1979, so I tried to keep the production sparse, similar to what it was like at that time, and focus on the funk! The video I released for this song uses footage from 'Roller Boogie,' as I know I, myself, would've definitely been on skates for this one!
11. 'In a Twist' I like the concept of microsongs, so I made this house-bangin' shorty with that in mind. It also serves as a reminder to not take things too seriously - and have some fun, especially on the dancefloor.
12. 'Customer Served' Drawing on my many years working in customer service, this song says all the things I have thought about difficult customers but would've never said. Anyone who works or has worked in customer service will get this. It's kind of like fulfilling a fantasy: If I could tell someone off, this is what I'd say. All set to a bright and throbby house beat, of course. If you're of delicate disposition, this one isn't for you (although the swear words are bleeped out, so maybe you can hang).
13. 'So Heavy' This is one of my favorites, mostly because it's open to many interpretations. What is 'heavy' could be many things: It could be a situation, it could be something physical you've got in your hands or trying to hold...or it also provides a vehicle for a grown man (or anyone, really) to whine about something they don't want to do. As men, we are socialized to shut up and take it. Well, sometimes I wanna bitch about it. C'mon fellas, am I right? We may not always say it, but trust me, we definitely may think it! Everytime I hear this, the rock-inspired music feels, to me, like a track you hear blaring through the speakers at a concert or echoing throughout a dancehall, and I love the excitement of that vibe.
14. 'Just You' - I wanted to do a house track with a retro vibe, and I love how this one feels like it could've been released sometime in the early to mid-90s. All day long we think about others. Sometimes it's nice to think about just you. This is a classic style house track that is intended to make the listener the center of the universe - it is about just you.
15. 'Creeper' - I feel like this unsettling and oft-putting song is perfect for any DJ looking to make a Halloween mix. As a fan of horror and suspense movies, I was inspired by them and real-life weirdness to write this one, and I think it really evokes a haunting, eerie and, well, creepy feeling - along with a throbby deep house beat you can groove to while wondering if you're being watched. [insert evil laugh here]
16. 'Shut Down' - Disco meets experimental dance, I wanted to do something where a robot was leading the charge, and this track feels like one of those old school tracks I can picture people pop-locking, beat-boxing and breakdancing to, and I love that retro vibe. It's not a conventional beat, but there's something about it that always makes me wanna move, so I figure others may feel the same - of course, that could just be because the robot is making me do it.
17. 'Bitch Better Come' It's party time, and you know how there's always that one friend who never has any money and needs to mooch. This song is about that - from the vantage point of someone who's tired of it and wants, at the very least, this friend to at bring some booze or smokes. This one is driven by steel drums to add to the party vibe, a low driving bass - and a whole lotta attitude.
18. 'I'm Just Bending Over' - You're there at the club, and you know you're rockin' the hotness. But for some reason you haven't met the right person yet. However, there's that creepy guy or gal who's got their eye on you. You're just bending over to tie your shoe and damn, they can't seem to get enough of all you got. And you're just tipsy enough that maybe they can be the one - but probably not...but maybe. (We've all been there, lets keep it real. lol) The motivation for this one comes straight from my life lol The bravado in this deep house track bumps strong in the bass with just enough attitude to serve as your contemplative soundtrack when wondering if perhaps you've found Mr/Mrs. Right Now.
19. 'Harder Please' Hard-driving techno and acid infused banger begs for more. Sometimes it's just not hard enough and you want it a little harder...you know who you are, and I salute you.
20. 'Yeah' Straight up, this one sounds like robots having sex. Drum n bass mixed with future house and sinister basslines, this speedy number is bot sexy.
21. 'Lets Go' Uplifting, motivational techno and acid infused anthem banger finishes out this set strong in line with the album's theme: 'Lets Go.'
