When a Spinosaurus tooth is broken, the interior of the tooth will appear to be a brilliant, ivory white. This is because the interior is composed of a phosphate based mineral that is reactive to oxygen. After it's been exposed to air for some time it will change from a bright white to a more yellowish color. So a bright white interior is not a sign of a composite, but rather, a freshly broken tooth.

The Peak Spinosaurus is a white spinosaurus with rectangular icy blue eyes with slit pupils. It has brown legs with icy blue claws, with the hind legs having longer claws. At the end of its tail is what appears to be a block of ice while the sails on its back are instead supposed to resemble snowy mountains, with icy blue tips and a dark brown base.

Franois Therrien and Donald Henderson, in a 2007 paper used scaling based on skull length, challenged the previous size estimates of Spinosaurus finding the length too great and the weight too small. They instead calculated a body length of 12.6 to 14.3 meters (41 to 47 feet) and a body mass of 13.2 to 23 short tons. The lower estimates for Spinosaurus would imply that the animal was shorter and lighter than some other large theropods like Carcharodontosaurus. Yet there were criticisms for the choice of theropods to compare with and the assumption the skull could be as little as 1.5 meters (4.9 ft) in length. Currently, the weight estimations of spinosaurus range in between 6 and 8 tons.

Much depends on the reason the sail evolved. If it was just a sexual advertizing device, that would be likely. But if it evolved to make the low quadrupdal spinosaurus look more formidable to predators, then females would've had sails too--just like stegosaur plates.

This handmade, wheel thrown mug has white glaze and a spinosaurus design that has been fired into the glaze. The bottom section is left unglazed, and the matte raw red clay complements the smooth glazed surface of the top and interior of the mug. It also has a spinosaurus head on the bottom of the mug.

Spinosaurid dinosaurs lived during the late Cretaceous period, at least 93  million years ago, the Natural History Museum said on its website. The spinosaurus is also called the spine lizard and its remains were first found in 1912.

Dinosaurs in the spinosaurus family were carnivorous and had smooth and cone-shaped teeth. Scientists say spinosaurus dinosaurs were just over 45 feet long. They were typically found in Egypt and Morocco and some scientists say they may have spent part of their lives in water. 006ab0faaa
