LTO Batteries (Lithium Titanate Oxide )
i used de Yilon LTO 30Ah cell, Why Simple LTO cells have a cyclus from 25.000. other cheap LifoPO4 cells wil only work 6.000 times. But they are much Cheaper !
Check out the advantage of these cells on this video LTO cells are the most save cells on the market at this time !
LTO cell wil good perform with very low temp -20°C and +65°C
Charging time for these cells = 10 minutes normal and 6 minutes Rapid Charge !! (20A current needed) !!!!
SMART BMS (24s 250A) i'll explain this later
This is a device that wil control and regulate and protect every cell in you battery combination
Active balancer
This device is needed to keep al your cels on an equal voltage, for the best performance of your battery pack !

Growatt hybride inverter SPH5000 1-fase (On my solar system at this moment i have a SunnyBoy 5000 TL this must be replaced ! )

LTO batteries are the cheapest at ALIBABA.COM, after some communication with sellers i'got a good deal for 120pc/30ah. if you look at Ali-express they are way to expensive !
3050 Dollars for 120 pieces including door to door delivery and vat.
Price for batteries = 2756€
Invertor !
GroWatt Hybride inverter SPH5000 1-fase, i order this form a Dutch compagnie, they where even cheaper than Ali.
Growatt ShineWifi-S for commincation with my cellphone and monitor al the settings from the invertor
My price for invertor = 1560€

I found this on Ali-Express, but this is for LifoPo4 cells, i contact the reseller and he assured me that this will work !
And in the description i found this
I'm gonna contact my college at work (who also made a LTO Diy battery) to discus this BMS. and then i'm gonna make my decision !

So at this moment the best solution will be 22s or 23s, this wil mean 5 parallel batteries and 22 or 23 of these in serie, which will result in 7.59 Kwh or 7.935. We will see the best solution when we are mounting the project ! So finnaly i need 115 of 110 cells !

You 'll also need a balancer above your BMS !! BecauseActive balancer can balance with higher current !

Here I found some nice 3D STL file for a nice holder.
Some Calculation 110 Cels 2 designs each Cell So i need to print 220 pieces.
So i need 616 hours to complete printing al te cells and i'll need about 1.100 meters of PLA and that wil be 3.3Kg
So i need to do some investment 4* 19 € for 4 Rolls of PLA fillament ! So i need 76€ to do this.

Every battery string will be 5 batteries in parralel , so i have 5 time's 30Ah so i'll get my 150Ah !!
Also Yesterday I had contact with Growatt about some problems with my inverter (see above 17 12), they have upgraded the firmware, now i have to wait for more sun to test it !

Bad luck Inverter need to be replaced, but it is a warranty thing, i have to wait a few weeks for a new inverter, so we keep in touch, for a few days i'm gonna put back my SMA for a few weeks !

As you can see de Diff voltage is 0.040V this is ok for the first time, without any balancing !

The BMS will not connect to my growatt inverter so i've setup the growatt inverter "Lead Cells", dont forget to connect the temp sensor or it wil not work !
(This will be a next project to create a device to convert the BMS protocoll !)

I've checked the Nuts and a few where not fast enough, After Fixing this is looks ok !
Today I also got the battery fulled charged ! The reason in the curve was the error with the BMS voltage ! At 15h it was fixed.
I'll do some more testing you'll see more results in the next days !

Now the battery is online for more than 10 days ! Capacity of tha battery is about 8.5Kw .
Sometimes de BMS wont start up again when the SOC went to low ! Balancing is working fine , some screen shots of the BMS and balance, full parrameter detail will follow af more test days

Ballancer will always work ! And the balancing current is about 4A, this is also the reason for an extra active balancer ! Because the Balancing current of the DALY BMS is to low to do the job good !

Because my Top BMS will not communicate with the BMS input of the Growatt inverter ! I used this settings to make te battery work !

If i move al over the Busbar you see almost the same, so the connection looks alright !

All the sensors are connected to Wemos D1, and so i can see all the temps in my Domoticz system. (more info about this project you'll find it out here )
Today i also find out how to connect the BMS to an ESP32wroom module ! i'll create a seperated project for this later !

As you can see only the fuse's nd the cable gets a little warm, if you see the details. You'll find out that the temp is Max 24.3° ! And this after charging more than 2 hours at 70 Amps, everyting looks ok.

(So i can park my car back into my garage ! )
So first i have to disassamble the battery, because i'm not Rambo, the whole battery weight more than 120 kg !
Where i'm gonna fix the BMS and Balancer ?
Battery is on place but now i have to clean up the spiderweb, I also decided to remove the fuses in each string !
There where no fixations on the balancer so i had to print some 3D holders
This looks OK for me, time to finish it !
The final result ! The battery is not standing in the way anymore !!

Due to some problems BMS powered down when battery was empty, and not always turned back on, so i had to push the on button from the BMS, but when i'm not at home !?
The BMS went down when the voltage was apox 44 volt, bij canging the LV workmode to 45 volt, the Inverter will stop taking power from the Battery, but the battery stays online !!

With a car battery charger diff charges done to get min voltage back up high ! Why the voltage got till 41.5V i don't know, settings are 44 volt lowest voltage !!
