2019 SigEp Reunion

Reunion News

The Board of Trustees of the SigEp Alumni and Volunteer Corporation (AVC) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a lease agreement with Dartmouth College for the facility at 11 Webster Avenue while chapter operations are suspended. The agreement ensures that the facility is well-maintained and can continue to rental revenue until the chapter starts the rebuilding process in the Fall of 2020.

"The National Headquarters of Sigma Phi Epsilon secured a Return Agreement with the College when the chapter was suspended allowing us to recruit starting in the Fall of 2020. This lease agreement between the Alumni & Volunteer Corporation and the College ensures that we will maintain control of the facility while the chapter is dormant," explained AVC Board President J.D. Optekar '91.

With the chapter suspended since the Fall of 2018, the AVC has been renting rooms to a mix of unaffiliated undergraduate and graduate students for the Winter and Sprint 2019 terms. The lease arrangement with Dartmouth College allows the school to fill the beds primarily with graduate students in need of housing for up to two years.
