Welcome to Spelliva! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Spelliva mobile application (the "App") and any associated services, websites, or features provided by Spelliva ("we," "us," or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
Spelliva is an interactive word puzzle and spelling learning application designed to improve vocabulary and spelling skills through level challenges, audio pronunciation guides, coin rewards, and global leaderboards.
You may set a custom display name, choose an avatar emoji, and select a country flag within the App.
You agree not to select a display name that is offensive, profane, hateful, defamatory, infringing on trademarks, or impersonating another individual or organization.
When using Spelliva, you agree NOT to:
Use automated tools, bots, cheats, scripts, or hacks to artificially alter your score, coins, or level progress on global leaderboards.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our cloud database (Google Firebase) or server infrastructure.
Use the App for any unlawful, illegal, or unauthorized purpose.
We reserve the right to remove any profile or ban any user from public leaderboards if these rules are violated.
Virtual Currency: The App includes virtual coins ("Spelliva Coins") that can be earned through completing level challenges or watching optional rewarded video ads.
Usage: Coins can be redeemed exclusively within the App for gameplay aids, such as hints or level skips.
No Monetary Value: Coins are strictly virtual items for entertainment purposes inside Spelliva. Coins have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for fiat currency or real money, and are non-transferable.
All contents of Spelliva—including logos, designs, graphics, audio clips, game logic, word databases, UI elements, and software code—are owned by or licensed to Spelliva and are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
The App integrates third-party services, including:
Google Firebase: For database and leaderboard services.
Google AdMob: For serving advertisements.
Your interactions with third-party ad networks or linked services are subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of third-party advertisements or services.
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that:
The App will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or error-free at all times.
Results obtained from using the App will meet your specific educational or gaming expectations.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Spelliva or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data, loss of progress, or device malfunction) arising out of or related to your use or inability to use the App.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy (or PRIVACY_POLICY.md) to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable governing laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
