Recorder Resources
Playing the recorder is a great beginner band instrument! It helps them begin to develop breath control and the finger dexterity needed for more advanced instruments in middle school. We focus mainly on three notes to begin: B, A, and G.
Recorders at school are cleaned after each use with the help of our wonderful cafeteria staff!Â
The recorder is the first instrument that students can really take ownership of in music class because they might even be able to play at home! Interested in buying one for home use? Click here. This is the best sounding one while still being cost effective!
