About Spartan Basketball camp

Spartan Basketball Camp is an LLC that runs camps and clinics in the Burlington, NC area. The organization is directed by Sam Layman and Ryan Bernardi, the basketball coaches at The Burlington School.

About the School

The Burlington School is a private institution in Burlington, NC, serving students from preschool to the 12th grade. TBS is a member of the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association in the 2A classification.

About the Program

The Burlington School basketball program is preparing for its 3rd season under the direction of head coach Ryan Bernardi. In his first two seasons, Coach Bernardi has led the Spartans to an overall record of 49-18 including back to back trips to the State Championship game. Despite losing in the state championship game in 2019, the Spartans managed to repeat their run to the title game this past season, defeating Northwood Temple Academy 72-52 to win Coach Bernardi's first state championship. In Prior to Coach Bernardi's tenure at The Burlington School, the program won 2 state championships under the direction of Coach Ron Johnson. Since 2015, there have been 20 graduates who have advanced to play college basketball.
