About the CAMP Director

For the past 3 seasons Coach Sam Layman has served as an assistant coach for the varsity boys basketball team at The Burlington School. This past season, in addition to his role with varsity, Coach Sam took on the Head Coaching position for the junior varsity team. In his 3 seasons at TBS the Spartans have posted a 75-25 record. In his first season as JV head coach, the team was fortunate to compete in 10 games amid a pandemic-affected season and finished with a final record of 8-2, both losses against varsity opponents. The team went undefeated against JV opponents winning by an average margin of 21.9 points per game.
