Our Mission

Our mission is to provide children the tools needed to read and gain confidence in  literacy by providing individualized, systematic, and research based instruction.

At Sparkle Literacy Tutoring, we understand the critical need for children to have a strong foundation in early literacy skills. Children must have an understanding of :

• the alphabetic principle (understanding letters represent sounds)

• phonological awareness (ability to recognize and manipulate parts of words, i.e. rhyming)

• phonemic awareness (understanding the individual sounds in spoken words) 

• phonics (understanding the relationship between letters and sounds)

in order to be successful readers that can comprehend literature, decode and understand vocabulary, and read fluently.

We are able to assist your child in excelling and achieving their reading goals by creating individualized plans using diagnostic assessments. Our passion is igniting a spark of reading achievement in young learners.
