Project Results

The SPA Nursing Care for the 3rd Millennium project has produced a comprehensive collection of open educational resources designed to support vocational nursing education across Europe. All materials have been developed through international cooperation between partner organisations from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Greece and Türkiye and are freely available through the project platform. The project focuses on improving competencies in spa nursing care, balneotherapy, rehabilitation, patient education and the use of digital educational tools.

Educational Programme

The Educational Programme provides a modern curriculum for teaching spa nursing care, integrating evidence-based practice, rehabilitation, balneotherapy, patient safety and digital competencies.

Worksheets

80 worksheet topics have been developed to support both classroom teaching and independent learning. Each worksheet is available in English and in the national languages of all partner countries, allowing students and teachers to use the materials in an international as well as local educational environment.

Tutorials

The project includes 28 practical tutorials covering key procedures and competencies in spa nursing care, rehabilitation and patient education.

Knowledge Tests

A total of 28 interactive tests have been created to assess students' knowledge and support formative and summative evaluation.

SPA Nursing Dictionary

The multilingual SPA Nursing Dictionary introduces professional terminology related to spa nursing care, balneology, rehabilitation procedures, medical equipment and patient care, facilitating communication and learning across partner countries.

SPA Care Facilities and Indications Guide

This guide presents an overview of spa healthcare facilities, rehabilitation centres and the main medical indications for spa treatment in Europe. It serves as a practical reference for students, teachers and healthcare professionals.

Methodological Guide

The international Methodological Guide provides a comparative overview of spa nursing care in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Greece and Türkiye. It includes case studies, teaching scenarios, reflective questions and practical recommendations for vocational education.

International SPA Care Competition

The project developed the International SPA Care Competition, enabling students from partner schools to demonstrate their professional knowledge, practical nursing skills and teamwork through international educational activities.

News

The News section documents the project's progress through reports from Transnational Project Meetings, professional conferences, dissemination activities and international cooperation, while also sharing current developments in spa nursing care and rehabilitation.
