During my classes, I immerse my students in lessons with comprehensible input (CI)/Acquisition Driven Instruction (ADI). I teach the target language in context while making sure my students understand what is happening in each lessons. I personalize the context and make meaningful and compelling connections with them in order to engage them while using our frequency words. (Súper 7 & Sweet 16 and more)

I use storytelling through the method Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling (TPRS). We create stories together, act them out, ask and answer questions about our stories, read them, and write them. I also incorporate several CI/ADI strategies, such as, Calendar Talk, One Word Image, Clip chat, Picture Talk, etc, in order to provide my students with the input they need to acquire the target language (Spanish) and continue helping them with their language acquisition journey.
