The Club
Welcome to Spalding Town Bowling Club
The Club was formed in 1925, and is one of the oldest outdoor bowling clubs in Spalding. It has its own private ground in Halmer Gardens, Spalding, on land donated by George Adams. We have a clubhouse, changing facilities and a spectators' pavilion.
The Club plays in the Spalding and Lincolnshire leagues and cup competitions, under the Laws of both EBA and EBF (similar, but with minor differences).
Members can also enter their own choice of county and national competitions as individuals, using the Club’s facilities for their home matches.
The Players
We offer bowling facilities for people of all ages and abilities to play in league and cup matches, and friendly roll-ups The Club’s teams are mixed, apart from a few cup competitions that are for men only or women only.
While matches are competitive, most of us play the game as much for enjoyment.
