History

Space Club is the astronomy club of the Romanian (military) Space and Radiocommunications Agency under the Informatics and Communications Command of the MApN (the Romanian National Defense Ministry).

The club started its activity on December 1st 2023 and is focused on bringing together the professionals of the Space Agency, amateur astronomers, children and people who are interested in astronomy, both typical and with disabilities.

We are creating a community in which we ALL have access to the joy that astronomy brings us, and at the same time, promote the (military) Space Agency of which few people have knowledge, and whose personnel work hard for Romania to be an active participant in the international space exploration.

The mixed members of the club, both military and civilians, bot adults and children, work together for the same goal: to promote the beauty of astronomy!

You can get involved by one of the following methods:

Become a Space Club Member

How do you become a member? It's easy, send us a membership application using this form. Note: carefully read all the documents attached to it.

Pay the membership fee of 150 lei/year and send us the payment proof. After that you're all set, we'll let you know what activities are next.

What`s in it for you?

you can participate at stargazing sessions, star-parties and astronomy events with the Space Club team;
