Space Camp 2025 successfully concluded in September 2025, bringing hands-on satellite and space technology training to students across Lahore through a series of camps organized by the Space Research Center, University of Central Punjab (SRC-UCP) in collaboration with Research Solutions & Ventures (RESOLVE). The program was hosted at the
University of Central Punjab
Lahore University of Management Sciences
Lahore College for Women University
Information Technology University
University of Engineering and Technology Lahore
providing students from different institutions with direct exposure to practical space engineering.
Participants explored the fundamentals of satellite and mission design, command and data handling, electrical power systems, attitude determination and control, RF communications, satellite payloads, EYASSAT educational satellite platforms, CanSAT development, ground-station integration, GPS validation, telemetry, parachute recovery, launch demonstrations and flight-data analysis. Through structured lectures, demonstrations and hands-on assembly activities, students progressed from basic satellite concepts to the integration and testing of complete educational satellite systems.
The camp also served as a pathway toward the CanSat Competition during World Space Week 2025, allowing participants to apply the skills developed during the training in mission-oriented challenges.
Space Camp 2025 reflected the shared commitment of academia, research organizations and the STEM community to developing practical engineering skills, encouraging innovation and inspiring the next generation of space scientists and engineers in Pakistan.
